Happy Halloween

I remember my favorite Halloween costume. I was Santa Claus. Yep, I know it is a little weird...and I don't know where I came up with the idea, but I was Santa for a couple of years. Where did the time go that you can't just be whatever you wanted on Halloween. Why do you have to be a "character" from some overexposed movie or television show? And that wouldn't even be so bad if the movies and characters that you were "supposed" to be were actually from movies that you were allowed to see! The most popular costumes in Brad's sizes are from Star Wars, Batman, Spiderman, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Narnia. Now I am not saying these are bad movies, I feel they are just not appropriate for a 3 and 5 year old to be watching. If they are not watching it, how do these kids know about them? And If you don't dress like these characters, are all his friends going to laugh. Should I let Brad watch these movies? In the end, on Halloween night, a member of Lightening McQueen's Pit Crew and Ariel the Princess Bride walked around to get candy and had a blast!
